Kate Middleton’s mother is selling adorable budget range Platinum Jubilee decorations online

Kate Middleton’s mum Carole Middleton has launched a budget range of Jubilee decorations, in time for when the Royal Family’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations begin in June. The decorations include British bunting, cake toppers, napkins, and more.

Carole made her fortune with Party Pieces – an online shop selling birthday decorations. Recently, the business owner has cashed in on the Queen’s big day as the website is now selling adorable-looking decorations.

In 1987 Carole set up her business alongside her husband Michael who quit his job in 1989 to join the business venture. Following in her family’s footsteps, and perhaps inspired by her mother, Pippa Middleton has also capitalised on the party business as she came out with a book called Celebrate in 2012 which comes with recipes, crafts, and party ideas.

Party Pieces sells a variety of themed decorations and these include ballerina decorations, Avengers, Peppa Pig, Star Wars, Harry Potter and more. This March, Party Pieces launched its new jubilee range for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, which many will celebrate on the Jubilee weekend between Thursday, June 2 to Sunday, June 5.

A post on the Party Pieces Facebook page read: “If you’re planning a street party to celebrate the Platinum Jubilee, then our charming Great British Party range is a lovely option. It’s a twist on the classic red, white and blue Union Jack décor with some candy stripes and pretty English roses thrown in.

“The collection includes everything you need to throw a fantastic party – cake stands, bunting, and patriotic tableware. Shop Party Pieces to start planning!” At the moment, some of the new Jubilee decorations are trending on the website.

The ‘A Great British Party Table Set’ costs £18 whilst the ‘Personalised Photo Cake’ is £22.99. Meanwhile, the ‘A Great British Party Ultimate Bundle’ is £75.

The website says that the shop also curates “the most attractive, best value party decorations, games, and tableware” and it seems that customers love the shop as well. On Facebook, Lin Scott said that “the service from Party Pieces was excellent” and the banner she ordered “was fabulous and of first-class quality.”
